Rules:
-There is no set price on these. You'll offer to adopt them.
-There is a minimum price you can offer-- 240 or $3 USD. (if you offer art, you don't have to worry about this minimum!)
-I will accept points/USD via paypal/art/customs. The first three I favor more than the last, but feel free to offer customs anyway!
*Also, feel free to offer a trade! I am kinda picky with my adopts, though, so don't feel bad if I turn you down...

Noctilae Information:
This is a Closed Species, at least for right now. Please don't make one without asking my permission!
Noctilae are creatures composed entirely of shadow. Think water spirits, made purely of water-- but shadow instead. They are tangible but it feels kind of like a very heavy mist. Because of this, they're extremely light on their feet and tend to be able to move faster and jump higher (as long as external forces like wind and whatnot are in their favor.)
The only parts of them that aren't made of shadow are their horns. Their horns are made of keratin, and do grow as they get older (slowly.) Should one die, all you'll have left are the horns. *This is not limited to horns, by the way. Spines, scales, etc are all fair game
Their core is their soul, and is what provides them with color. Their core acts kind of like a magnet, and is what keeps the shadow in a tangible form; it's also how they're able to grow and change. This is also what keeps their horns attached-- hence the color on the base of the horns. It shows through their eyes (the windows of the soul, some say) as well as flaws and blemishes (like the mole on serafina's cheek.) It also manifests in some ways elsewhere, like as cuffs and accessories; these are the same texture as the object they're manifesting as (it's kind of more like a projection), but the color fluctuates just a little bit as their soul is alive and well underneath.
For the most part, Noctilae can manipulate shadow; some have elemental abilities (being able to bend fire, water, etc) but it takes a lot of training to get to where they can do that. Older Noctilae tend to take up practicing an element as a hobby.
Noctilae feed on the life energy of other creatures to keep their soul alive.
They don't exactly have any organs or blood. Their soul is about all they've got that isn't shadow.
Because they're made of shadow, they're all black; that doesn't vary much. Their soul, however, can manifest in many ways and add color to them!
